It is undeniable that our smart phones have become our “go to” resource to connect, engage, search, build, and source of information. Which has absolutely made us to be always glued on our mobile devices, well I have for one sort of use it as a “mobile office” ever since my laptop crashed.
It’s savvy and disruptive at the same time. So I found this feature that has really been helping me to discipline myself of how strict I become to myself in making use of the device. That is making use of Digital Wellbeing feature. Which basically tracks and shows how much time you spend on apps. The coolest thing that’s really helpful is actually setting time for apps more especially Twitter,Instagram, Facebook and so forth.
I set a timer of about 1 hour on Facebook which has helped me to know who should I follow which content do I want and if in a day I have already exceeded my 1 hour then I won’t be logging in again. Yes ofcourse I can actually go and increase the timer to 2hours but I have learnt that if I break my own rules I would be sabotaging myself and disrespecting time
